I wish I would have updated the blog more this week, but I didn't...so here is a run down of what's been going on.
Monday, I got invited to play in a fun scramble tournament with some co-workers (that are not great golfers) and we won the tournament! Not only did we win the tournament, we all won raffle prizes, which made everyone want to sit at our lucky table. I won near the end of the drawings, which means that I won a big prize...2 tickets to Disneyland!! Jimmy and I are already thinking about incorporating that with going to a Dodgers game in early July.

Next, I played in a 2-day tournament on Tuesday and Wednesday. It was a field of 24 people, me and one other girl being the only women. I shot a 77 and was tied for 9th after the first day and shot a 71 (1 under par) the second day to tie for 4th! I was stoked and ended up winning $360, so not a bad 2 days on the course.

The rest of the week went on without much action. Jimmy and I went to a work party Saturday night hosted by my boss. Our current General Manager (who has been there for 24 years) is leaving in July, so my boss had a party for him and 44 other employees. It was a good time.
I had Sunday off while Jimmy worked and I was very productive. The high temperature was in the 70's, which is 30 degrees below normal so I took the opportunity to do some work outside. I went to Lowe's...by the way, I LOVE the Lowe's Garden Center. I just love buying flowers and plants and going home to plant them. Call me crazy. Anyways, I did some weeding in our front yard, then headed to Lowe's to stock up on some summer flowers. While I was planting, Jimmy started up the grill and we had chicken and corn on the cob..yummmm. Here are some pictures from today and the rest of the week:

And finally, this evening, Jimmy and I worked on our front courtyard. Here is a before and after:

Below - if you look at the picture on the right with Tuxedo you can see the 2 new rose bushes that I planted too. The 2 that I replaced didn't get enough sun over the last couple months and just never blossomed. I have no idea why the one in the middle survived.

We're planning on putting that stone around our landscaping in the backyard too. We thought about going with some finer stone, but this seemed durable and we knew for sure that it wasn't going to blow away with the wind and have to be replaced every year. I'll have to get some pictures in the sunlight to give you all a good idea of what it really looks like!

That's all for this post - dinner is ready, hot off of the grill, so I must go!

Love ya'll!!
