Thoughts

It's just one of those evenings. Sipping on a glass of wine and find myself lost in my thoughts of the past mixed with anticipation of what is to come. I have no interest in astrology, but have you ever read about the characteristics of your astrological sign? I had never done this until today, only after someone asked me what sign I was and asking me the characteristics. I googled it out of curiosity and this is what it says:

I had to include the last sentence. That obviously refers to my remarkable ability to play the clarinet. Unfortunately, I only blessed this world with 2 years of that musical talent, which happened to be in the form of a fierce competition for first chair in the middle school band.
Anyways, I guess my point is, all that astrological stuff doesn't change how I live my life one bit, but it is funny the accuracy of the description.
Today, at the end of my workday, I was halfway through a lesson with a lady that I had never taught before; I was complimenting her after a very nice shot and she made the statement 'oh, I love all the positive comments, I feel so much better ...." She said this with a smile and a slight laugh. My thoughts at that exact moment: I have no clue if I'm going to help her golf game in the long run, but if I can make her feel better just by giving her encouragement, then it's all good. A little encouragement and positive thoughts can go a long way.

On a different note, I have a new favorite song. American Honey by Lady Antebellum. At first I didn't get it, then I listened to the lyrics and it totally echoes my thoughts. Great song!
