Time Flies

I can't believe it's March already! I feel like I say that every month, but it's true. I especially find it true since I will be turning 30 in 5 days!!! And those are not exclamation points of excitement....they are exclamation points of 'nooooooo, I don't want the day to come!' I mean, it's just a number, but to turn 3o means that I have passed through another decade of my life. A lot has happened in my 20's. When I think back on it, A LOT has happened, I don't know how else to say it. Graduating college, choosing a career path, moving to California, getting married, buying a house, and not to mention a number of other things that have been life altering. Hopefully there is nothing that will happen in the last 5 days of my 20's that I need to include in that short list. I can only help but think, are the 30's like that? I would hope to think that life in my 30's will be a bit more stable. However, when I think ahead, I think "well, Jimmy and I are eventually going to move back to Indiana" (which means a job change and buying a house) and "we do want to have children" and "my grandparents aren't getting any younger....". So, as I think about all that, I have a feeling the 30's are going to be a roller coaster, but in a different way, with totally different feelings and experiences. Who knows, I guess. I suppose we just need to be grateful for each and every day and not think about what tomorrow will bring.
Anyways, I had no intention of talking about any of that when I sat down at the computer, but such is my blog.
O.k, so the last few days in the Morse household has been nothing to speak of. Jimmy and I have both been working hard and catching up with each other in the evenings.
It rained enough on Saturday for my lessons to reschedule for next week and I was dying to get some good pictures, but I forgot to take my camera to work. By the time I was home, the sun was shining.
I was asked by a member to address 90 envelopes for an event they were having at the club. I have never been asked to do that and I'm a bit nervous that their expectations are a bit too high for my writing skills, but I'm done with them and have yet to hear their feedback due to the fact I didn't work today.

Since this post is a smidge longer than I expected, I'll wait until later in the week to write about my Jury Duty experience. But I will say that it's not as bad as many make it out to be.
To further make this a post about nothing else other than random happenings and thoughts......................... our sporadic ice/water maker

I know I'm not the only one that our ice/water maker has splashed....it comes out VERY powerful. I was reminded of that tonight. Also, I specifically remember my mom and my bff Kylie showing me the aftermath of getting water from our refrigerator when they were visiting in January.

Hanging out on the back porch. On the patio furniture that mom and dad bought us in a VERY sneaky manner.

Jimmy hanging out. He is quite the texter...too bad, with our phones, it takes 5 minutes to send a simple text. We'll upgrade one of these days.

And, of course, it wouldn't be complete without a picture of Tuxedo. Here he is using one of his toys as a pacifier after a good play session in the yard.
Love ya'll!
