Life is Good

HI!

I love daylight savings time. After the first day of course. I desperately longed for that extra hour of sleep at work on Sunday. Not to mention I worked a 14 hour day!! Today, however, I love the fact that it's 5:30 and we still have a good hour/hour and a half of daylight left! Plus,it got up to 83 degrees, it's just a beautiful day.
I was off work today, but had a lesson at 8 and 9. They were fun and afterwards I was left with the feeling that I would love nothing more than to just teach. I enjoy the one on one interaction and seeing positive results. I just like it. It's not stressful, I don't feel like it's work and I simply find it enjoyable.

The past week, Jimmy and I have been working like crazy. I told him yesterday that I missed him because I do! With our season, we have to make the money while we can, so we often work long hours and are at work a lot. Usually, I have the day off or get off work early and he works late or vice versa. We both are longing for summer time when we have a relaxed schedule and are able to plan for short trips or vacations or what not. Simply going to a movie or out to dinner would be nice at this point! However, I look forward to the evenings at home, where I can lounge around in a tee shirt and sweatpants, so eventhough I say going out to dinner or movie would be nice...when I get home these days...I like spending quiet evenings at home.
Tux could barely handle our walk today, I had a feeling it would be a little warm for him so I condensed one of our normal loops. He still stopped to take breaks. Three times.

I snapped a couple photo's on our walk, I haven't seen a roadrunner in a while and there one was, perched up on somebody's truck.

I also picked some grapefruit from our tree and squeezed some fresh juice. Tasty.

Also, I finally bought a doormat for our sliding door in the kitchen so that Tux doesn't wipeout when when he comes in from the yard after the sprinklers have been on. He thanked me.
